A statement piece rooted in the horse world, this original design is created from a vintage snaffle bit, modified and reimagined as wearable art.
First reimagined by Ride Free for the runway at New York Fashion Week, the modified turquoise horse bit has since become a signature design, most recently shown on the runway of Coup de Rouge in collaboration with Trixie Trading Co. For this edition, Trixie thoughtfully incorporated a 17-inch burnished statement metal chain finished with a micro pavé carabiner clasp, transforming the original bit design into a statement necklace all its own.
The elongated cheek pieces and rounded center ring preserve the character of the original bit, while a genuine turquoise stone suspended inside the ring gives it a bold, sculptural heirloom presence.
Each design carries the patina, character, and history of the vintage tack it came from, making every one completely unique.
